2026 Scholarship Awards: The House of Emmanuels Foundation Awards Three-Year Scholarships to 20 Ogun Students

The House of Emmanuels Foundation has awarded fully funded, three-year secondary school scholarships to 20 academically outstanding students from public secondary schools in Ogun State.

The scholarship awards were presented on Friday, September 25, 2026, during the second edition of the Foundation’s educational intervention programme held at Lisabi Grammar School, Idiaba, Abeokuta.

The beneficiaries emerged from a competitive scholarship examination organised by the Foundation in April, which brought together more than 500 students from public secondary schools across Abeokuta North and Abeokuta South Local Government Areas.

Following the examination, the 20 highest-performing students were selected on merit to receive the three-year scholarship covering their education from Senior Secondary School One (SS1) through Senior Secondary School Three (SS3).

More Than a Scholarship

The House of Emmanuels Foundation’s scholarship programme is designed to provide more than financial assistance. It seeks to remove some of the barriers that can prevent academically promising students from reaching their full potential.

Each beneficiary received a scholarship certificate and an academic support package, including school uniforms, school bags, sandals and writing materials. The Foundation will also cover tuition and other school-related fees throughout the three-year programme, as well as the beneficiaries’ WAEC registration fees when they become eligible to sit for the examination.

Speaking through Hon. Solomon Enilolobo, Managing Director of Oluwalogbon Electronics, who represented him at the ceremony, the Founder of The House of Emmanuels Foundation, Mr. Oluwasegun Amos Emmanuel, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to using education as a tool for creating opportunities and changing lives.

He encouraged the beneficiaries to take full advantage of the opportunity, remain committed to their studies and understand the responsibility that comes with receiving the scholarship.

He also urged them to remember others when they eventually have the means to make a difference in their own communities.

Encouraging Excellence and Responsibility

Hon. Solomon Enilolobo also encouraged the students to remain disciplined, focused and intentional about their academic journey.

He reminded them that the opportunity could have a lasting impact not only on their individual futures but also on the wellbeing and prospects of their families.

The keynote speaker at the ceremony, Mr. Tobi Joseph, a media practitioner, life coach and corporate businessman, similarly challenged the beneficiaries to see the scholarship as both an opportunity and a responsibility.

He encouraged the students to demonstrate their appreciation through hard work, discipline and academic excellence, noting that their performance could help create opportunities for the Foundation to reach even more students in future editions.

Investing in the Future

The scholarship presentation brought together the beneficiaries, their parents, teachers, community leaders and other stakeholders who witnessed the impact of the initiative.

For many of the families represented, the scholarship provides significant relief from the financial demands associated with secondary education and gives the students greater confidence to focus on their academic development.

Continuing the Mission

The House of Emmanuels Foundation remains committed to supporting young people and creating opportunities that can positively shape their future.

The 2026 scholarship intervention builds on the Foundation’s broader commitment to educational support and community empowerment. By investing in students today, the Foundation seeks to help create a generation of young people who are equipped to pursue their aspirations, support their families and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

20 students. Three years of support. A future filled with possibilities.

At The House of Emmanuels Foundation, we believe that financial circumstances should never be the reason a capable young person is unable to pursue an education.

This is education support. This is opportunity. This is hope in action.
